Logical fallacy

Argument from personal incredulity

Also known as: Incredulity · Appeal to common sense
Common#23 of 71 by how common ← All logical fallacies

What it is

Rejects a claim because the speaker finds it hard to imagine or understand. What one person can't imagine says little about what is true.

Example "I can't see how something as complex as an eye could evolve, so it didn't."
